A new business hub is set to give entrepreneurs and small business owners across the Capricorn region the support they need to start, grow and strengthen their businesses.

The Capricorn Business Hub will provide practical support, expert advice and opportunities for local businesses to connect and collaborate.

Practical support for every stage of business

Opening from 15 June 2026, the hub will offer:

  • affordable shared work spaces
  • business mentoring and coaching
  • workshops and events on practical business topics
  • opportunities to connect with other local business and industry leaders
  • intensive start-up accelerator programs
  • inclusive business support for youth and people with disabilities
  • connections to funding and investment opportunities to help businesses grow and take the next step.

Strengthen the Capricorn business community

Over the next 4 years, a $1.6 million investment will help more locals turn their business ideas into reality while supporting existing small businesses to grow and adapt in a changing economy.

The project is designed to help attract and retain entrepreneurial talent in the region, while addressing common barriers to business success such as confidence, access to support, capital and markets.
